8 Weeks of In-Person TOEFL Preparation at United Language Institute
United Language Institute’s TOEFL Intensive Training Course is built around the current TOEFL iBT skill areas and task types. Students do not simply “practice English.” They learn how the test works, how to respond to each task, how to manage time, and how to improve through guided classroom practice and structured self-study.
Course Overview

Main Focus: TOEFL academic English mastery, proven test strategies, timed practice, and weekly personalized instructor feedback

Direct TOEFL instruction, elimination, and time-management strategies, guided speaking and topic development, phonetic assignment, listening and note-taking practice, academic grammar and vocabulary advancement, response modeling, instructor feedback, and classroom/group interaction

Academic listening, note-taking, main idea recognition, speaker purpose, and accuracy under time pressure.
